Sorry for my english and grammar mistakes.“ The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found. Anyone have a suggestion what should I try next? :S I think that only thing I could do is to try reinstall windows. I also think that internet and connecting to their servers isn't a issue here because I have never had that kind of issue before and because I have tried to download and install Origin on my laptop which is connected via wifi to my router and everything works fine, I mean, I can run setup normally. I didn't contacted my internet service provider because I doubt that this is their fault and because they aren't really helpful either. Origin Agent: I would like to inform you that if it was a problem from EA servers then these troubleshooting might have worked. Me: You think that this problem is related to internet? Because I can download it but can't install or you mean that your program can't download data from your servers and because of that I can't install it? Origin Agent: Tell them you are unable to download origin and let them know about every troubleshooting we've tried here and inform them that you've contacted EA help too. Me: And say them what exactly, because everything else works except Origin? Origin Agent: I would suggest you to contact your internet service provider in this case as we've tried every troubleshooting in this case. I have contacted Origin customer support three times and they didn't solved my problem. Send msinfo and UO trace report of my connection to Origin customer support Uninstall and install again all of C++ redistributable packagesĭisable any of the background app that will maybe block Origin setup to run Run OriginThinSetup.exe with admin privileges and with various compatibility mode (Windows XP, 7 and 8)Īdd firewall/antivirus exceptions for Originĭisable antivirus and firewall completely I have tried all these steps:ĭelete every folder manually that is related to origin (has Origin in its name) and in registry.

My PC configuration (if that anything matters to you): Double click on that exe file doesn't do anything. Inside that folder are around 36 files, mostly dll files and OriginThinSetupInternal.exe file. Also, new folder Origin is created in Users/AppData/Local folder and it contains ThinSetup folder.
Only things I noticed when I tried to open it is that Origin is showed in windows process tab but only for a few second just like loading icon and then it dissapears. Besides that I just see Windows loading icon on mouse pointer that spins maybe 1/2 second and disappears. Main problem is that when I double click on that exe file and try to open it, nothing happens, only UAC notifies me that this program is trying to make some changes which I have accepted. I have downloaded OriginThinSetup.exe file from EA official site and tried to open it. Because of that I had unistalled Origin and tried to install it again. I would double click on Origin icon and nothing would happen. I could download, install and play any game and everything was perfect until suddenly one day, out of nowhere, I couldn't open Origin anymore. :( Few months earlier, I had Origin working and running just fine. I desperately need your help because I would like to play Battlefield 3/4 but I can't install Origin no matter what step/procedure/thing I try and I'm going nuts.
